We might pretend otherwise, but knowing from the start where to sit in a theater, what behavior fits in a museum or a concert hall, rely on established social conventions. Aesthetic globalization and nostalgic discourse - against the passive, alienated spectator - compose the two facets of a same perspective, which is hereby questioned. Can a spectator modify his or her position towards art ? Are we taking the risk to misunderstand the spectating of art, which should be thought as a moving exercise, a trajectory ? How does the notion of "nature/natural" work within the act of spectating ? How does it work in relation to that of "culture" ?

Keywords : point of view — education — subjectivity — exhibition — gaze
